Alteal Residences can be found all over France and inside the ISAE SUPAERO campus itself.

If accepted at the residence, a reservation will be made according to the students room preferences, along with a digital contract to be signed.

The CAF stands for ‘Caisse des Allocations Familiales’ and it is the government body that helps families by offering different services and benefits going from early childhood, crèche, halte garderies, education, holidays, family allowances, pregnancy benefits & housing benefits. Many of these benefits are revenue tested; some are not.

This document is important to do virtually anything. It will be used to Check-in at the Alteal residences at the ISAE SUPAERO campus, open the French bank account, to benefit from the Toul'Box Welcome Meeting and apply to the CAF financial support.

I had to go to the civil registration building in my hometown to acquire the Birth certificate.

The European Health Insurance Card is issued free of charge to anyone who is insured by or covered by a statutory social security scheme of the EEA countries or Switzerland and certain citizens and residents of the United Kingdom. It allows holders to receive medical treatment in another member state in the same way as residents of that state—i.e., free or at a reduced cost—if treatment becomes necessary during their visit, or if they have a chronic pre-existing condition which requires care such as kidney dialysis. The term of validity of the card varies according to the issuing country. The EEA countries and Switzerland have reciprocal healthcare arrangements with the United Kingdom, which issues a UK Global Health Insurance Card valid in the EEA countries and, in most cases, in Switzerland.

It will be important to apply to theCAF.

It is mandatory to have a bank account on French territory in order to take advantage of many benefits for foreign students. Some of these are discussed during the Toul'Box Welcome Meeting. Additionally, it is needed to benefit from the CAF financial support.

In order to acquire the keys for the Alteal Residende at the ISAE SUPAERO campus at the Check-in, home insurance is mandatory.

The next step after having signed the housing contract is to Check-in. In can also be used to apply to the CAF financial support.

This document comes in handy to open a French bank account. Besides proving that I will be performing activities in French territory, it needs to be proven that I will have a room/house assigned to my name. The CAF financial support also implies having this document.
